The call for extra effort in production, the extra hours devoted to patriotic service may tax your health With a lowered vitality and resistance there is a great danger of your becoming ill and thus a burden to the community. You serve New Zealand best, by looking, feeling and being your best. Keep healthy and enthusiastic through exercise. The Y.M.C.A. can help you maintain health by providing exercise and recreational activities after your work has finished. A limited number of men and ladies will be able to take part in Badminton at both centres, of the Y.M.C.A., but in order to provide a form of recreation that will provide for the great number of men and women engaged 011 essential war work, an effort will be made to conduct an American Basketball Tournament with members of the U.S. Marines acting as coaches 'lor teams faking part in this fine type of game. Business houses wishing to enter teams are invited to make further enquiries as- to conditions of play from the Y.M.C.A.. Cuba .Street, Petone.
