TOWNSWOMEN'S GUILD
LOWER HUTT BRANCH Mrs. N. W. Benstead welcomed members at the October meeting held in the R.S.A. Rooms. An interesting and instructive talk was given by Mr Sundgren particularly on the preparation oi tlie soil and growing of vegetables. Mrs. G. Mayo judged the floral exhibits, awarding the following:-— Sprays, Mrs. Benstead and Mrs. Dickson, equal; Mixed Bowl, \'i v~. Jpnlayson Ist, Mrs. W. King 2nd.' Decorated Saucer, Mrs. Judd ist. Mrs Hutchings 2nd. The monthly prize for the bt\si flower in the garden was won by Mrs Sawers, with Mrw lie 1 .! sorosoi. The November meeting will take the form of a Christmas Party.
