The president, Mrs. Sissons, extended a welcome to meiu bers and visitors, after which tlu. secretary, Mrs. France, read tlu correspondence. A feature of the afternoon was a demonstration on iioral work given by Mrs Sole, which proved most educative as well as interesting. At the conclusion of the demonstration Mrs Sole was presented with, a small gift. A stall conducted by Mrs Hart netted a considerable amount which will augment the Institute's funds.
