Mrs. Anderson ? then amused lier audience with a 4 number ol' humourous sketches, f Both these ladies received pretty ! flower sprays. I Articles of clothing etc., made ? up for the Fighting French v. as tin; | competition for the month and wa'b won by Mrs Robertson with Miss McGregor 2nd. Mrs Combe presented the best flower. Knitting and sewing for ail sections of the Forces is being carried on efficiently by many members. IX'U.XI Bi'ANCil The Epuni Women's Institute Iv.;lu tlieir monthly meeting at the liireh Street Hall v.iien tliere was a fail attendance. The president, Mrs. Sissons, extended a welcome to meiu bers and visitors, after which tlu. secretary, Mrs. France, read tlu correspondence. A feature of the afternoon was a demonstration on iioral work given by Mrs Sole, which proved most educative as well as interesting. At the conclusion of the demonstration Mrs Sole was presented with, a small gift. A stall conducted by Mrs Hart netted a considerable amount which will augment the Institute's funds.
