$ The.clu 1 / roonn were again overcrowded, and the W.W.S.A. Canteen Section, with Mrs Logie in charge, provided a wonderful tea on Saturday and Sunday evenings. On Sunday there were 150 servicemen present. The Services Club committee offer their thanks to those who contributed to , the entertainment — Messrs Jim Davidson (piano-accord-ian), Tom Wood (soloist), visiting servicemen (violin solos), Mr. Mann (pianist), Mr. Jim Kyle (M.C. and community sing leader), all the, canteen girls and younger hostesses, the R.S.A. for the use of its rooms; also Messrs R. Munday (meat), R. Horn (milk). The mayor and mayoress of Eastbourne visited the club on Sunday and were delighted •to see such a large crowd of happy young "people.
