WEDDING IN CAMP CHAPEL
UNIQUE CEKEMONY For the first time in New Zealand <t Nuptial Eucharist was celebrated in a military camp chapel on August I.2th, when a soldier and his bride were married at the Church Army Institute in the Dominion's largest inland camp. The couple ~-ere Pte. Haiiey Matson Johanson, r.on of Mr.' and..Mrs. L. II McAsey, of Hawera, and Liorraine Hannah, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. K. J. Coile, of Ohakune; the service was performed by Captain llarold Irving, Church of England Chaplain to the Forces, and was attended by a number of civilian and military friends. Sergeant K. J. Cloile, in Home Guard uniform, gave his daughter away. The bride's twin sister, Mrs Commings, young widow of the present war, whose husband was killed in Wgypt, acted as matron of honi'te. A.
