Mrs. Sadlier, who has been treasurer for nine years, resigned and was presented with a gift in appreciation from fellow members. Alter the business had been disposed of, the balance of time was given over to a social afternoon. Mrs. Bernard, who has taken over the choir, was given a hearty welcome, and presented with a boutjuet. The choir sang several numbers, accompanied by Mrs Grigg. Members also entertained by relating personal humourous pars. Afternoon tea was served, after which a play reading entitled "Gossip," was given by Mesdames Wedekind, Stanton and Wilson, and was much appreciated.
