Last Thursday and Friday, nxusi i cal, elocutionary and dancing competitions were held by the Waterloo School in the Y.MC.A. Hall kt Birch Street. The hall was packed out on both nights and the event was a great success. Judging was undertaken by Mrs Swaffield (piano and dancing), Mrs. Halligan, Mrs Craig McKenzie and Miss McDiar- „ mid (elocution) and Mrs. Tunley (singing) Tfie following w~ere ihje results:— Thursday Night.
