Mr. Tone is the guardian in question, a sour-faced symbol of ultra-conservatism until he succumbs to Miss Bennett's blandishments. Robert Preston and Martha O'Driscol have an exciting time together in Paramount's timely and fast paced melodrama "Pacific Blackout," second attraction at the De Luxe Theatre. The film's swift action takes place in a large American West Coast city during a practice blackout and air raid alert and is loaded with comedy, thrills and suspense.
