| $ _ | AMBULANCE STATION PLANS The question of establishing a sup plementary ambulance station iu Lower Hutt was touched upon by the chairman cf the Free Ambulance Board, Sir Charles Norwood, last week. He said that Mr E. P. Hay and the mayor (Mr. J. W. Andrews) were already interested in the matter, and had been asked to suggest possible sites, after which the board might inspect them before coming to a final decision. Sir Charles added that in planning a new station in this area they wanted to look a llong way ahead, and not put up a building that would require additions and extensions within a short period.
