§ The numerous patrons of tho R S.A. old-time dances will be pleased to know Mi at. the 1 942 season commences on Thursday, February 19, with one of their popular fortnightly functions. It. is anticipated Miat the large attendances that have always been evident at these dances will be sustained and probably increased during 1 942, and the social committee assures the public that no effort will be spared in retaining those features which have made the U.S.A. dances go successful. A very generous response was made to the appeal ol' the R.S.A. Executive for books and magazines for the use of members of the National Military Reserve, and the R.S.A. wishes to thank all those who so kindly and promptly gave reading matter for this purpose.
