MOUNTED HOME GUARD

SOCIAL FUNCTION Recently troopers with their wives and friends were entertained at "Casa Loma," the home oi' Lieut, and Mrs. J. Stellin. Among the tiO guests present were Major J. W. Andrews, O.C. Hutt Battalion, and Troop Commander M. C. Clifford, of the Upper Hutt Mounted. Vocal and instrumental items were rendered by members of the troop, and dancing was interspersed with community singing. During an interval S/M. Ward took the opportunity of thanking the host and hostess for the enjoyable evening, and expressed the appreciation of the troop in having soj enthusiastic a leader as Lieut. Stellin. On behalf of the troop lie asked Lieut. Stellin's acceptance of a suitable gift.
