'■ PREMISES BUILDING FUND / '■appeal - ; .u/ r , VISIT OF. SERGT. HULME, V.C. On Friday • evening' the great R.S.A. Premises Building Fund Appeal will be launched throughout the Wellington district. • At Lower Hutt the Campaign will open with a monster procession comprising all war services. This will move off from Andrews Avenue at 7 o'clock and parade through High Street. A feature of this procession wjJl be the appearance of Hutt's 1 own iVA, Sergt. Huime, who was for some years a resident o£, this town. Throughout this appeal plans have been made for the complete canvass of the Hutt Valley from Petone to Stokes Valley, including Wainui-o-mata. The object of the appeal is for the purpose of raising £6000 to build premises where the affairs of the Returned Soldiers' Association can be administered and where members can find good wholesome companionship. A strong organisation has been set up for this purpose and a body of willing canvassers have undertaken to make a personal visit to every home and business premises within the area so that everybody will have-an opportunity of assisting this worthy object.
