VICTORY FAIR
METHODIST LADIKS' GUILD Wesley Hall was gaily decorated with flags, bunting and flowers hi the occasion of the Victory Fair, or ganised by the Methodist Ladies Guild. Mrs J. W. Andrews, who was presented with a beautiful bouquet by Suzette Steven, in a very appropriate speech, declared the fair open. Good business was done and a satisfactory amount realised. In the evening Mesdames A. Johnston and L. Muir gave much appreciated items. The stall holders were: Cakes: Mesdames Lambert,, Eddie, L. King and Hawke. Sewing: Mesdames Stonehouse, Lusty, Pollitt, Paton and Akluirst. Tulip Stall: Mesdames \V. llall, F. J. Parker and Hyndman. Produce: Mesdames H. F. Muir, Teasdill, Robinson, Winslade, Heyes, Lovatt and Bish. Sweets: Mesdames G. Jamieson, J. D. King and H. 15. Shearer. Tea Rooms: Mesdames N. Wansbrough, Clark, Matthews, 11. M. Russell, Stevens, Knight and Steven.
