Votes of thanks to those responsible were passed, and a considerable amount of jam, sauce, etc., was handed in for the mission. An acleptable parcel of knitted goods had been sent in earlier in the year. The Singing Circle contributed an enjoyable item under the leadership of Mrs. Williamson. The best bloom in the garden was grown by Mrs. McCarthy, with Mrs Turner second and Mrs. Foote third. Members were reminded of the sale of work to be held in October, proceeds to assist patriotic funds. ' _________ i
