Conlon, topk place at the [St. Stephen's Presbyterian Church recently. , For the past 13 years Mrs. Armstrong , haß been ' church organist, and tribute to her kindly disposition and unfailing attention to. duty, paid by Mr. H. W. Kersley, who presented her with a cabinet of i cutlery on behalf of the congregation. Mr. P. Brown, who acted as chairman, spoke on behalf of the choir, eulogising Mrs. Armstrong's skill &t tbe organ and the willingness with which she co-operated with ' the choirmaster. Reference was itiade to the assistance Bhe had at all times given to ensure the success of social gatherings, and best wishes for her future success and happiness were extended by--fall present.
