A meeting of the Itnox Good Companions Club was held recently at the home of Mrs. Sim, Pilmuir ■ Street. Mrs. Stevenson, president of the club, gave a very interesting talk on'a. course of training in kitchen work'carried out at the Wellingtpn Public Hospital in connection with the Red - Cvoss E.P.S. Supper was served by the committee for the everting, Mesdames Sim, Barry and Hare and Miss Thorpe. Members were pleased to hear that Miss Hurst will again entertain with musical items at the next meeting* which is to be' held on the 9th September,
