The A Grade games were won by Hutt Valley Valley High School Old Pupila',Association) , whilst the B Grade matches were won by Vauxhall (General Motors, Ltd.). The keen interest shown by the Hutt Valley and Eastbourne players is reflected in the entries for the handicap and open tournament, to !be held in the Horticultural Hail, j Lower Hutt, on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, the 20th, 21st, and 23rd August. The total of entries this year is greater than that of last year, despite the fact that so many badminton players are serving with the forces and that the game haß been adversely affected by war conditions. Play in the tournament will commence at 7 p.m. sharp, in order to complete the schedule games, and all players entered will be assured of a game on the opening night. The finals will be played on Saturday, 23rd August, and will attract considerable interest in the { Valley. The Hutt Valley inter-cliib championship results are as follows,: A Grade. j
