The presentation of Hutt Valley Club trophies won during last season will take place at the clubroom to-morrow, Thursday, evening. All members are invited to attend.
The following cttizens. have been gazetted as Justices of the Peace: — Jack Coman, James Charles Greig, Henry Seddon Hills, Herbert William Land, Peter Edward Warner, John George Young.
On Wednesday, 18 th September, the Hutt Valley Women's Institutes aer holding a grand concert in the Wesley Hall, to which items will be contributed by the Taita, Belmont, Stokes Valley and Epuni Institutes. An excellent programme, including two one-act, plays, sketches, dancing and instrumental and musical items, has been arranged, and all who attend are assured of a splendid evening's entertainment. Further particulars are advertised in this issue.
