ST. STEPHEN'S TENNIS CLUB

There was a large attendance of members of St. Stephen's Tennis Club at a social held in St. Stephen's Bible Class Hall last Thursday to bid farewell to one of their members, Sergt. H. M. Eades, who Will be leaving for overseas with.the Second Echelon. Miss M. Clark and Miss M. Auld were the hostesses for the evening, and their programme of games and musical items was enjoyed by all present. After supper, Mr. P. Feist, the president of the club, in a happy speech, expressed the good wishes of the members, and presented the guest of the evening with a fountain pen and a-parcel of tobacco, the gifts of the meirlbers. The Rev. J.. E. Lopdell also presented Sergt. Eades with Moffat's translation of the New Testament. A very enjoyable evening concluded with the singing of "Auld Lang Syne" and the National Anthem,
