The annual tennis matches betweeri Hutt Valley High School and Dannevirke High School, recently playe at Dannevirke, resulted in a win for the local school, The results were as follows, the Dannevirke player being mentioned first:— Mollie Riddell v. Rhoda Gartside, 6—l, 6—l; Neroli Senior v. Nancy Butt, 6—l, 6 —l; Shirley Mackie v. Barbara Campbell, 6—2, —0; Nola Cassidy v. Prudence Dudding, 6 —o, 6—2; Joyce Bradley v. Moira Cameron, 6—o, 6—l; Marjorie Peters v. June Hunter, 6 —4, 6—3; Muriel Berry v. Barbara Mackisack, 6 —l, 6 —l; Betty Mcßeth v Marion Marwick, 5—6, 6—4, 6—l.
