WAIWHETU HOME AND SCHOOL ASSOCIATION
——S*- 5 — A most enthusiastic meeting of the Waiwhetu Home and School Association was held at the Waiwhetu School recently, when final arrangements were made in connection with the annual garden fete, which is to be held in the school grounds on Saturday next. The fete will be officially opened by Mr.,. H. E. Combs, M.P., who will be accompanied by Mrs. Combs. Energetic committees have been formed to conduct the various stalls and side shows, and "myßtery parcels" will be on sale. Given a fine afternoon this year's fete should be one of the most successful yet held, and will also provide an opportunity to inspect the many Improvements which have been made to the beautiful school grounds.
