PIANOFORTE RECITAL

Youthful talent was to the forefront at the annual pianoforte recital given at St. James's Hall by the pupils of Miss Alice Duff and Miss Myra Nichol. The varied programme, which was presented to a large and appreciative audience, was of a high standard, and gave evidence of careful tuition and preparation. All the performers, .rom the small beginners to the most advanced, rendered pleasing items, the majority exhibiting no sign of nervousness. Branches of pink and white cherry blossom were used as stage decoration, and at the conclusion of each item the players were handed chocolates and flowers. Miss Duff and Miss Nichol were also the recipients of bouquets.
