"BRING AND BUY" SALE
The freshness of home and garden produce cut flowers and -new season's plants and seedlings was an outstanding feature of the attractive "bring and buy" sale or». ganised by the Mothers' Club of the Lower Hutt Plunket Society and held in the Plunket Rooms at nid-
diford Park last week. The wellstocked stalls and busy tearooms were in charge of the Mothers' Club committee, the wares and afternoon tea being supplied by the Plunket mothers and friends of uie society. Members of the nurses' staff also contributed towards the success of the afternoon, and the enthusiasm of all concerned resulted in a very satisfactory sum being realised for general district funds. The organising committee comprised Mrs. W. R. Robson (convener), and Mesdames L. Rankin, H. K. Bullock, R. L. Simpson, J. Dobson, E. Hutt and J. Eaton.
