TAITA CLUB

Despite the bitter-golfing conditions, there was more than a good attendance of club members at the Taita course during last week-end. Considering the strong gale and the intense cold, Jack Rudman's gross round of 78 (four over plus), was an excellent effort—and this in match play. The following qualified, and will be drawn at a later date, to play for the captain's trophy: J. Rudman, B. Meyer, L. Ward, H. A. Kells, A. E. Lake, N. Rudman, E. Parkinson, R. McDonald, T. N. Morrison, A. L. Byrne, B. Dickie, K. Drummond, R. E. Kells, R. Shannon, H. F. Ansell and J. Meyer. The medal round was won by B. Dickie with a score of 91—24—67. Next Sunday a four-ball best-ball bogey competition will be played, members to arrange their own partners.
