''Rich Man, Poor Girl," based on the Broadway stage success,- "White. Collars," tells the hilarious story of a millionaire who in an attempt to woo his secretary, moves in on her family who regard him with suspicion because of his wealth. Young is cast in the millionaire role with Miss Hussey as his secretary and Ayres as her trouble-making brother. Others in the cast include Guy Kibbee as Miss Hussey's father, Rita Johnson and Lana Turner. This picture will be . shown at Prince Edward Theatre on Saturday. > JOSETTE Don Ameche, Simone Simon and Robert Young are co-starred in 20th Century-Fox gaily provocative comedy of naughty New Orleans, "Josette," which opens-at the Prince Edward Theatre on Tuesday. Bert Lahr and Joan Davis head the cast including Paul Hurst, William Collier, Sr. and Tala Birell. THE GOOD OLD SOAK Wallace Beery, lazy, lovable and human portrays Clem Howley, the Old Soak in what must be truly considered as the most appealing role in his spectacular career at the Prince Edward Theatre. ' THE DEVIL DOLL At the Prince Edward Theatre, Lionel Barrymore as the mad scientist, brings living things down' to miniature size. An amazing plot with a tremendous climax. "THE DRUM" "The Drum" which conies to the Prince Edward Theatre un Saturday next, covers every side of Indian Army life and shows not only the intense skirmishing, but the social life at the Residency, life in the bar racks and swift-moving polo matches. The whole effect is heightened by the remarkable background of Indian mountains which, photographed in Technicolour, are overwhelming in their splendour. Prominent among the rest of the gigantic cast of "The Drum," whic'a is a London Film released through United Artists, are Desmond Tester, Edward Lexy and David Tree. SHIRLEY TEMPLE IN "JUST HOUND THE CORNER." Based on what is said to be the most original story idea ever conceived for a Shirley Temple picture, "Just Around the Corner" opens next Saturday at the De Luxe, with America's Number One star surrounded by a splendid cast. * The story concerns the hilarious but happy consequences which arise when Shirley confuses a wealthy old banker (whose name happens to be "Uncle Sam" Henshaw) with the. lean and be-whiskered gentleman who is the symbol of our American national life. Charles Farrell, Joan Davis, Amanda Duff, Bill Robinson, Bert Lahr and others are featured. "PARIS HONEYMOON" . . Four new hit tunes destined for high positions on the. "most played" lists, are heard for the first time in "Paris Honeymoon," Paramount's new Bing Crosby comedy opening at De Luxe Theatre oil Tuesday and Wednesday. The songs are "The Funny Old Hills," 'I Have Eyes," "You're A Sweet Little Headache," and "Joobalai." Besides Bing, the singing is done by Shirley Ross and Franciska Gaal, while Akim Taniiroff, Edward Everett Horton and Ben Blue are on hand to see that the comedy runs continuously and smoothly.
