CHAMPION POINTER

At the Nelson Kennel Club's i show, held on Saturday last, the pointer bitch, Peggy O'Neill, owned by Mrs. K. Rod, of Tui Street, was awarded the first- prize for thejbpst dog in the show in competition Hrfth dogs from all parts of the ivorth and South Islands. This is the second occasion this year on which "Peggy O'Neill" has been awarded this honour and the first time the distinction has come to the pointer breed twice in succession.
