LABOUR'S ANNUAL BALL
A:i event of outstanding importance takes place on Friday evening next, sth when the local branch of the Labour Party hold their fourth Annual Ball in the Horticultural Hall. The demand for tickets has been heavy and indications are that this function will be very successful. The conrn'ttee responsible arc sparing no effort to have everything in firstclass condition and to create an atmosphere worthy of the occasion. The guests of the evening are to be the Hon. Walter Nash and Mrs. Nash, and Hon. Peter Praser and Mrs. Fraser. Further particulars may be obtained from the advertising columns of this issue.
