—» — .Mrs. Thompson Mucky, who presided at the annual meeting of the Knox Women \s Guild, was re-elected president. The election of officers resulted: — Secretary, Mrs. J. Marwick; treasurer, M rs. R. R. O'rr; vice-presidents, Mcsdanies B. Whitcher, Scott, Mcßain, and W'.lson; committee, Mesdames C. E. Robertson, J. Blair, C. Edmeades, liaise, Batchelor, M. Maeaskill, Adam, 11. Wcbley, Mrs. P. Dowse, who gave a talk on drama, comparing Dickens. with modern plays, and gave a better insight into life than plays of 'the past.
