FROM HOLLYWOOD
Mr. "Doug." Snelliirg, who has recently returned from the world's wonderland,. Hollywod and whom radio listeners know as Station 2/B ' Hollywood made many pencil caricntuies of appearance on the stage at the De Luxe Theatre, Lower llutt, to tell patrons something about Hollywood and their favourite stars. The dates for this attraction extraordinary,• have been set for Wednesday evening, August 3rd and Thursday and Friday. "Doug." is a New Zealand artist of no mean repute and whilst in Hollywood made many pencil charicatures of the most famous stars, as well as having talked with them about the wonder city.
Articles by "Doug" are appearing in our leading magazines—The Free Lance, thy Woman's Weekly, The Mirror and of course sensationally in the official radio organ, the Radio Record. The De Luxe Theatre has pleasure in announcing' that this is "Doug s" first personal appearance on any stage since arriving .from the "world of lilmdom" and his talks, as listeners know from hearing him over L'ZB, are a mass of highlights about "stars" and their doings.
