WRESTLING.
At a meeting of the Hutt Valley Amateur Wrestling Association held on Monday evening final arrangements were made for the match to be held l on Monday evening next at the Palace Theatre, Petone, betweeh Matros Kirilenko and Joe Kopacli Woods. It is ( expected that this bout will be of exceptional interest. Woods created a favourable impression when he wrestled against Bl'omfield at Lower Hutt last July. He lias recently returned from Australia where lie gained fresh laurels against the best mat men in that country. Kirilenko is famous as the unorthodox wrestler and 'the exponent o,f a variety of telling' holds. The preliminary bouts will be of special local interest being .drawn from the best amateurs in Lower Hutt and Petone. The booking plans will open 011 Thursday at Skilton's, Lower Hutt, and State Theatre, {Petone.
