SUNDAY RIGHT CONCERT.
The L'.'ivcr llutt Civic Band has been fortunate enough lo obtain the co-opera-tion ot radio station 2ZB in arranging a concert to be held in the King George Theatre 011 Sunday, September .1, commencing at 5.15.p.m. The radio station authorities have arranged for some of their personalities t 0 appear on the stage while the band will Tender several items a:id -Mrs. Ytii.fred Andrews will be heard in solo numbers. Everything promises for a good night's entertainment and this will be the first concert ot tli;s type to be held in Lower llutt. The total proceeds from the concert will be donated to the Lower Hutt branch of the Plunket Society and' as the public is already aware of the fine work being done bv this society it is hoped there will be a ready response to help their funds. Admission will be by silver, coin collection at tho door but tickets for 'reserved seats can be obtained from members ctf the Plunket Society committee and members of the Civic Band. Any person having a ticket for a reserved seat is not expected to give to the collection at the door.
