—« — Mrs. P. Shaw, Hcretaunga Street, was hostess recently at an enjoyable evening ,for Miss Elsie .Senior and Mr. Purvis Sisson, whc.se marriage takes plaice 'this month. Mrs. Shaw wore a frock of black lace, and Miss Senior's frock was of blue moss-crepe. The drawing-room was bright with spring flowers, and competitions and singing were much enjoyed. The guests of honour received many useful and (beautiful gifts. A delicious supper was served by the hostess.
