Tito members o,f 'the lower grade Rugby teams are staging a Joy Night in the Birch iStreet Hall on Friday evening. We recommend this dance to all members of the Club and supporters. The following pupils of Miss Peggy Hastings were successful in the recent examinations eondu'cted ; by the Royal Academy of.Dancing: Shirley Dean, Joan McDougall, Keith Wood, Valniai Sturgess, Jiine Osborne, Barbara Dawson. An enjoyable evening was spent 011 Wednesday last when Miss J. Babington entertained a number of friends in henour of Miss 8. Munro whose marriage is shortly to take place. The guests were entertained with songs, games and competitions and the opening of. the paivols by the bride-to-be who thanked her hostess and friend's for their kind wishes aiyl dainty and useful gifts. A delightful savoury supper was then served. Those present woro Mosdiinies Henderson and Gulf, Misses B. 8/.cw, H. Murray, F. Durable, E. Munrc and E. Hogg.
