OFFICER FAREWELLED.
A pleasant function took place on Wednesday last at the ollices of the Hutt Valley Power Board when the staff assembled to bid farewell to the general mniuigor, Mr. E. F. Hollands, who is leaving (accompanied by Mrs. Hollands) on a six months' health recuperating visit to England and South Africa.
On behalf of the staff Mr. 11. E. M'.'Bain, the secretary of the Board, in presenting Mr. He-Hands with a fountain pen, expressed the desire that Mr, and Mrs. H&Jlands would have a very pleasant holiday, and that he would return fully recovered from his indisposition. Mr. "J. B. acting engineer, endorsed hife remarks and good wishes. Mr. Hollands suitsW/'y replied.
