PERSONAL.
Mr. E, F. Hollands, the engineer and general manager of the Hutt -Valley Electric Power Board, was farewelled at last week's meeting of -the Board. Accompanied by Mrs. Hollands, he will leave Auckland on October 24 by the Ecmuera on a health Tecruiting tour of England. He will also do a certain amount of 'business while he is away. Mr. Hollands expects to toe .away about six months and will probably return to New Zealand via South Africa where he lived for fourteen years, and hopes to visit the exhibition - and Australia. The members of the Board wished Mr. Hollands a successful trip and expressed the hope that he-would return fully restored in health .-and be able to carry on hi® duties with his usual efficiency which had fharaeterised his connection with the Board.
