HUTT VALLEY LAWK TENNIS ASSOCIATION.
The Hutt Valley Law.n Tennis Association have just commenced a monster queen carnival which will ibe of interest to all tennis players in the Hutt Valley. Many .functions have been arranged, queens selected, and a result can ibe looked forward! to which will help the Association in >tho near future to proceed with their .much needed courts. Permission has ibeen granted to conduct an art union, "the proceeds of which will foe divided amongst 'the four queen committees*. The management committee has divided the district into four sections as follows:—■ Northern —Upper Hutt, Taita, Tren•tham, Knox, Eastern Hutt, St. Peter's ■an'd Paul's, Burnside, Methodist. Southern —Petoiie Central, Koro Koro, Petone, Pononga, Randwick. Eastern —Lower Hutt, Waiwhetn, Wainui, Eastbourne. Western—Hutt Bowling and Tenms, St. James, Western Hutt, Wilford, Bt. Augustine The queens representing the districts are: Northern —Miss V. Fraser, of Eastern Hutt Tennis Club. Western—Miss N. O'Ncil, of Wilford Tennis Club. Eastern —Miss Yvonne Blackmore, of Waiwhetu Tennis Club, Southern —Miss 0. McMillan, of Koro Koro Tennis Club. Progress reports and notes of interest will bo published during the cat* flival in tho columns of this paper.
