GARDEN CIRCLE

The first meeting of the Garden Circle of the Hutt Valley Horticultural Society was held on Monday evening, Mr Wm. Smith presiding. The lecturer for tho evening was Mr W. 11. Wilson, who delivered a most interesting and educational talk on New Zealand Native Flora and its use in the gardens. Mr Wilson most ably illustrated his address with specimens of many interesting plants. At the conclusion of his address Mr Wilson answered a number of questions and was accorded a hearty vote of thanks for his instructive address. It was decided to institute a garden scrap book and l to invite members of the circle to contribute items of interest.
