At the monthly meeting of the Woburn Bowling Club held 011 Monday evening the president mentioned that at tlie Conclusion of the annual meeting, Mr Hounscll informed him that lie would be pleascd : to donate a cup for competition'-, amongst six or more new players joining the club each year. Mt Ho.unsell was heartily thanked by the members of the'eommitte for his public spiritedness and generosity thereby fostering the bowling spirit in encouraging beginners to be keen 011 the game.
