METHODIST MISSIONARY AUXILIARY.

The president was in the chair and led the opening devotions at the Doccmber meeting of the Lower Hutt Methodist Women's Missionary Auxiliary. It was reported that two large sacks of clothing had been sent .to sisters workiug among the Maoris and it is hoped to forward another sack early in the Ntw Year when the garments which Lave been distributed recently l'or sewing will be completed. Various a.iocations of funds were made, including a Christmas gift of 10/* ea.'!i to Szs'ers Eleanor I>obby and Airino 'Hcbbs. After tea a letter was received from Rev, Seanier, also a splendid reput from the New Zealand deaconesses. The president's quarterly letter was read and enjoyed. Arrangements wero made to hold a cake and pToduee -tall in the Church grounds during February iu order to raise money to purchase materials to sew for the Maori Mission. The meeting closed with the Benediction.
