REPERTORY SOCIETY PRODUCTION ■ Interest was considerably stimiiiatel in the work being curried on by the local branch of the League of Nations Union when the Wellington -Repertory Society uiost successfully produced two anti-war plays before a large and keenly interested audience in St. .James's Hall last Thursday evening. The local branch will benefit considerably by the financial result. The acting in both plays was ol' a very high order and demonstrated in a most forceful mariner the disastrous effects of modern warfare, The first play was produced by Mr, J. Yaldwyn and the second by Mrs Ureviilc Wiggs,

' Bright incidental music was supplied by an orchestra under Mr. 11. Langtry, and Mrs Wilfred Andrews a"d Mr J'lruest Glading contributed vocal sulos. A tiny pupil of Miss Kathleen Bartosh gave u skipping dance. Mrs. ,T. \V, Andrews played ilie vocal nrconipanimcixta.

Mr Craig Mackenzie expressed !he society's thanks tu the KepeCory players and all who had assisted with the production, and expressed pleasure at the willing manner in which everyone had offered their voluntary help.
