TRUST AND RESPONSIBILITY.

Through the courtesy of the proprietors of the "Hutt News," I am privileged to thank the electors of Hutt for the honour they have conferred on me by again electing' me to act for them in the Parliament of the Dominion. The trust and responsibility on this occasion is much deeper. The electors of the "Dominion having i, recorded their faith in the Labour Party to which I belong, it will be called for the first time in history to form a Ministry to govern the Dominion. The friendly response to the result of the elections from all sections of the community, the relief that has come to many homes by the thought that some of their loads will be eased, brings heavier responsibilities to wKTch the leader and members of the Party will respond. May I in this message set out in brief the aims of the Labour Party—the foundation of which will be laid in its first Parliament'!
