KNOX LADIES' GUILD.

On October l-'th the Knyx 'Lalies' Guild held their annual sale of work. Mr. Kennedy introduced Mrs. Andrews, mayoress, who opened the sale, and in a few well chosen remarks congratulated tho ladies on tile splendid display of articles, and wished them all the success they deserved. Good business was done, the men 's stall being an added attraction, everything on it having been made by the* men. A concert was presented in tho evening which was well attended, and much enjoyed by all. The result of the day was most gratifying to the ladles who had worked so hard.
