LADIES' AUXILIARY. Tin. l monthly meeting of the Ladies' Auxiliary of the Ilutt Valley Y.M.C.A. was held in Mis Kersley's home, Western ilutt Road. There was a good attendance of members, Mrs Kersley (president) presiding, Mrs J. Mitchell and Mrs A. Ryder attended as guests of the Auxiliary. It was decided to send letters of appreciation for services rendered to Mrs Hanson and Mrs Leslie, who had acted as publicity agents -for tlve street day; also to Misses Kersley and Findlay for the success they hud obtained with the pin prick cards. An offer from the St. Stephen's Orchestra to arrange a comcert at a future date in aid of the funds of the Auxiliary was accepted. It was decided to hold a datl'odil stall at I'etone on Friday, September 10 provided the necessary permission is obtained. At afternoon tea Mrs Kersley was presented' with a beautiful cyclamen by Mrs \V. Andrews_ iki belra>'.f of the Auxiliary, as a token of appreciation for jlier services during the Queen carnival.
