POWER BOARD and GAS BOARD. "WIN l'oll ELECTIiLCITY. Teams representing the Tower Board and Gas Board met in their annual Rugby match 011 Saturday at Strand Park, for "Ve Old Cup." Frame cut through the Power Board defence to score a fine try under the posts after being tackled 011 the line. 'Ihe kick failed. 3-3. l'lay was now becoming fast and the ball was thrown about in line style. Church put in a Jino run 'to score in the center, his kick failing. Halftime saw the scores, Power Board 0, Gas Board 3. With the change out play brightened up considerably and the Power Boards' efforts were rewarded when liealy scored near the post, his kick failing. !Ki. The Oas Board were now making every effort to reduce the deficit but without; avail. White then made a nice cpening for Lanibourn '0 score, but as usual, the kick failed. 12-3. White further improved Ihe Power Board score with a solo effort which resulted in a try near the post and Church converted, .17-3. r J he game ended shortly after without -alteration to the score, Power Board 17, Gas Board' 3. After the match, Mr. E. P. Hollands, engineer and 1 general manager of the power board ,presented "Ve Ole Cup" to Lawrence, the captain of the Power Board representatives. Mr. Harold Pileher had the whistle and received hearty cheers from the teams at the conclusion of the match. Fifth GYade players will train on Thursday night,
