WEDDING.

MANSON—'TURNEW. A wedding of much interest was solemnised at Ht. Augustine's Anglican Church, Petone, recently, when Edna Floronce, only daughter of Air and Airs H. Turner, Petone, was married to Cyril .Frederick, only son of Mr I*. ami the late Airs ALaiison, of Kimberley, Canterbury. The Kev. U. V. Uernrrt officiated. The bride, who enteral the chtiroh with her lather, wan charmingly attired in a model gown of white and silver matt crepe, the hem and train being outlined with fine pleating and bodice, slightly cowled, trimmed with tiny buttons to match the tight-fitting sleeves. Her veil of tulle was arranged cap fashion and was held in place by a cornet of silver leaves and orange blossoms. .She carried an arm bouquet of Jilics and maidenhair fern. The matron of honour, Mrs G. Neich, of Petone, was attired in a frock of pink floral georgette with hat to tone, and carried a bouquet of pink cyclamen carnations and maidenhair fern. The bridegroom was attended by Mr Neil, of Christcliureb, as best man. Miss Hobbs presided at the organ. On leaving the church the bride was presented with a lucky horseshoe by little Peter Tregurtka. A reception was held later at the Masonic Hall, the guests numbering about 00, where the bride's mother received the guests wearing a model frock of black morocain relieved with white, a black coat and hat to match. The usual toasts were honoured and a very enjoyable time was spent by all in dancing. Many beautiful gifts, cheque* and telegrams were received from all parts of Mew Zealand. When tlif happy couple boarded the Picton boat for the Sounds, the bride was wearing' a smart tunic, suit of Marina pink wool afgalaine with nigger brown coat and hat to match.
