(liy " Akela.") Those who were, in the Hutt Park on Saturday were surprised to see a number of boys rushing through as if intent on winning sc.ue race. It was the Waiwlietu Cub Tack on the trail of a treasure hunt. The trail led along •T;,ik bond to the Wainui tunnel, where the treasure was found. H was a parcel of savaloys and scones, and. ;j lire, was lit and the billy was soon boiling. Afterward.- the track to the top was followed and the return trip made by •road. Kvery Tuesday the pack meets ■when "Haghera'' gives instruction in 'handicraft ' while "Akela" arranges the games and competitions.
