KENNEL CLUB.
gun" dog trials. (Sporting men will be well advised to attend the field and water trials for gun dogs arranged by the Hutt \ alley Kcunel Club (fnc), to be held at Wai"uhct'u on Saturday, March !t. At the trials held last year sportsman from various parts of the country had a very enjoyable afternoon, aud as the proposed trials are to be run on improved lines a very interesting afternoon is assured, it is too, a novel experience for those who have not had an opportunity of seeing gun dogs working under natural conditions, to see the sagacity and intelligence of the animals employed proving what can be attained by dogs trained under ideal New Zealand conditions. 'this work being carried out by the liutt \ alley and a few other clubs in the Dominion, is a valuable forward step which will be much appreciated by all interested in every kind of sport.
