LODGE NOTES

fLOYAL PETONE LODGE, N. 8542, M.U., 1.0,0,r. The fortnightly meeting of the Loyal Petone Lodge, No. 6542, M.U., 1.0. F., was held in the Lodge Room, Petone Avenue on December 20, and was presided over by N,G. Bro. Andrews. Bro. H. Fleet presented Bro. Nightingale with his purple collar, the latter suitably replying. Bro, Haig congratulated the Lodge on. the successful running of the Christmas tree, which gave a very enjoyable time to over 150 children, and he hoped that the next one would be a bigger and better one than the ones j.n the past, and he hoped the Lodge would carry on its -good work in the future as it had done in the past. The Lodge adjourned at 9 p.m., when members onjoyed themselves by placing cards uud dancing, which brought to a close a very enjoyable evening, with supper
