England's greatest gift to the American movies came naturally by his own greatest gift.
Olive Brook's mottfer was a British theatrical celebrity. He got his inspiration for acting from her. He has been a star in scores of Hollywood film hits including Paramount's "The Man From Yesterday" showing at the Prince Edward Theatre next Saturday.
(Born in London, schooled there, Bvnos studied elocution early under the tutelage of many of/ England's most
renowned actors/ i '■ ' lv 1914 he enlisted as a private and was wounded. He.was honorably discharged with the rank of major. He made his stage ddbut several months later. England raved over. him in many stage productions and, later, in many British-made pictures.
Brook goes to England occassionally and thinks it a nice, place to visit. He prefers to live in Hollywood.
