NEW LOW PRICES ON

CELANESE UNDERWEAR

N.Z. onaniufaoturcrs have taken the initiative in reducing the {prices of •Celanese Wear, and it has been done without sacrificing in one iota the high standard of quality which has become associated with this class of clothing.

■Erstwhile, all Celanese Wear was wholly imported from Overseas— tike/ material manufactured and the garments made up in the country of origin —resulting in the maximum amount payable for Duty and landing charges. Now, however, only the material is imported, all gamnents being made up in our own country. This results in a big cash saving, the whole of which is passed on to the public in considerably reduced prices. Messrs R. T. Shearer Ltd., are featuring some of these lower .prices on page 2 of this issue, and the savings should ibe an wrge to women to buy these attractive .garments.

Another aspect of the case is that

employment is thus found for more of our own people, the puiblic finding a substantial source of satisfaction in the knowledge that their money circulates in the country instead of going

overseas.
